Another Successful Show

The Glitterati Craft show was last Sunday.  We had a good turn out, and it was a fun experience.  Here’s some pictures….

All three of us were up way too late the night before getting ready.  Here’s a tip: don’t wait till the night before to get your booth set-up worked out.  Sorry about the bad quality of the pictures, in my rush to get everything I forgot my good camera and had to take these with my video camera.  Add that to the list of stuff to take care of next time.  In the end it was a good show, I hope more NDE team members will join us next year!

Glitterati is this weekend!

Don’t miss the 5th annual Altrusa Glitterati Boutique THIS Sunday (October 18th) from noon to 5:00. Several NDE team members will be there, including Sydney’s Designs, Under The Brim, RBK Creations and A Beach Breeze.

Etsy is Coming to North Dallas!

Welcome to the North Dallas Etsy blog! Right now we’re all working really hard on getting everything running. We’ve got the website up, and have been doing some recruiting. If you’re in the North Dallas area and have a shop on Etsy we would love for you to join us! We’re getting ready to hold our first official group meeting in July, which will be monthly after that. We also have a group setup on Facebook, as well as a Twitter feed.

Let’s meet the North Dallas Etsy leadership team:
Lonna of Sydney’s Designs is our founder and President. You may address her as Madame President, Queen Lonna, or just “the one in charge.” She makes great hats, laptop covers, blankets and more.

Nicki of Nikobee is our Publicity and Recruitment leader. She dyes and spins beautiful fibers, and has just started making the most amazing soaps.

Ariela of RBK Creations is our Social Networking leader. She makes adorable bouquets out of buttons, and precious little things out of felt.

Erin (that’s me!) of a Beach Breeze is our Website and Graphics leader. I sew, with my signature creation being reusable shopping bags out of reclaimed fabric.

So there you have it. The gang is working really hard to make the best Etsy team anyone’s ever seen. Over the next few weeks we’ll be spotlighting every member of the team so that you can get to know everyone. You can find links to all of our team member’s shops on our website. And we’ll also be making post about happenings in the Etsy and Dallas crafting communities! Get ready for the North Dallas Etsy team, because here we come!
